Loneliness is a very difficult trial for people and, despite the increasing options for social communication, many are experiencing increasing amounts of loneliness in their daily lives. This webinar will focus on what loneliness is and try to answer the following questions:


  • What is the Catholic response to loneliness and what can I do with the loneliness I experience?

  • What can I learn about loneliness and how can I draw strength from the loneliness from Christ?

About the host

Fr. Peregrine Fletcher, O.Praem.

Fr. Peregrine was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri where he lived until 2013 when he entered the novitiate at St. Michael’s Abbey.  After completing his theological studies at St. Philip’s Seminary in Toronto, and following one year spent in Rome, he made his Solemn Profession of Vows in 2019 and was ordained a priest on June 27th, 2020.  Currently, he is serving as the Assistant Novice Master, the Abbatial Master of Ceremonies, and helping with the many other pastoral activities of the Norbertine Fathers.
