Let us boldly invoke the intercession of St. Michael to protect our families, society, and the Church from Satan and all evil spirits who prowl the earth seeking the ruin of souls. Now, more than ever, we must come together in faith and prayer.

These are perilous times. But even amidst great darkness, we are not called to fear. We are called to bear witness to the light of Christ.

This September, join Fr. Ambrose Criste and the Norbertine Fathers of St. Michael's Abbey as we take up the fight against the darkness of our age. For nine days, we'll unite our hearts in prayer under the banner of St. Michael, our patron. Throughout the Novena, members from our community will offer reflections exploring the importance of spiritual warfare and the real, extraordinary impact of prayer and fasting--in our lives and in the world.

Nine Days of Prayer, Penance, and Reflection

This great act of spiritual warfare includes daily devotions, video reflections on St. Michael and the angels, and livestreamed talks from our priests, culminating in Vespers on September 29. For nine consecutive days, we invite you to unite your prayers and penances with ours, joining in a powerful spiritual effort to seek St. Michael’s protection. Together, through prayer and sacrifice, we strengthen this battle against the forces of darkness.

On September 28, the eve of Michaelmas, we'll host a livestream roundtable discussion featuring Fr. Chad Ripperger and Gabriel Castillo. This conversation will begin at 10am (Pacific).

St. Michael, Pray for Us!

This Digital Novena Program concludes with the livestream of Vespers on September 29. At the end of Vespers, everyone will recite together the prayer to St. Michael.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
