A Special Message from the Eternal City

Fr. Claude reflects on the new pope's words.

As the Church welcomed a new pope, one of our own was there in the heart of it all. Fr. Claude, Rector of Collegio San Norberto in Rome, reflects on the Holy Father's first Sunday address, delivered on May 11.

The Pope spoke simply and powerfully about the need to listen–to God and to one another–and the deep longing for peace in our world.

We created this short video to share Fr. Claude's experience in Rome during this special and joyful moment of hope with the new pontiff–and to bring our series on the papacy to a meaningful close.
