While the lower wall of the mosaic can be seen as an earthly, historical representation—that of Our Lady of Guadalupe appearing to St. Juan Diego—the upper part shows us a celestial scene. There the saints dwell in the radiant glory of heaven.

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is so dear to our community. This year, we have a full program to help immerse observe this magnificent Catholic celebration: several days of lectures exploring the significance of the Apparitions (Dec. 9-11), special digital content, and on the Feast itself (Dec. 12) a full day of prayers, music, food, dancing, and a candlelit procession--all in honor of the Queen of the Americas.
