On this fourth day of our Novena to St. Michael, we pray in a particular way for fathers.

Yesterday we prayed for priests, whom we call Father because their sacred ministry reflects the fatherhood of God. Today we pray for natural fathers, to whom God has entrusted a real share in His providential care through the protection, formation, and guidance of their children.

Let us ask St. Michael and the holy angels to defend fathers from evil, strengthen them in virtue, and give them courage, fidelity, patience, and perseverance in the duties God has entrusted to them.
