On this seventh day of our Michaelmas Novena, we pray in a particular way for young people.

Youth is a time of great promise, but also of serious spiritual danger. At the very moment when they are discerning who they are and what their lives are for, the world often offers them everything except the truth about their dignity and eternal vocation.

Yet God does not cease to seek them.

Let us therefore ask Saint Michael and the holy angels to defend young people in spiritual combat, to enlighten their minds with truth, to strengthen their wills in virtue, and to lead them into a deeper friendship with Jesus Christ.
